KHS&S helped create the iconic tower structure at Universal Studios which leads guests into the new plaza area. The design of the tower and surrounding structure is based on 1920’s Art Deco architecture, a theme seen throughout the Hollywood area.
KHS&S was originally brought on to the project to complete finish elements for smaller areas of the site. However, once on-site we begin to support the Universal Studios Hollywood team and their design team to value engineer the finished look of the entire building, including the iconic tower.
KHS&S used prefabrication to construct the 10’ FRP tower topper. KHS&S also completed the interior framing and drywall, plaster/EIFS, insulation, fireproofing and thematic elements.
