Washington Office Update

It’s a wrap
Residence Inn, Northgate
The $10M scope for this seven-story hotel included load bearing metal stud construction, exterior cladding and BIM support. The project incorporated multiple types of metal cladding along with a roof
screen and trellis work, in addition to the Equitone fiber cement panel system. The project showcased
KHS&S’ core talents in exterior work.

What’s in progress
Snoqualmie Casino, Snoqualmie
Fifteen years ago, KHS&S installed the original faux cedar EIFS exterior. Fast forward to the current
scope, the team is finalizing a multi-phase casino expansion, seamlessly integrating the new construction
with the existing structure using the same faux finish. Interior work encompasses framing, drywall
and ceiling finishes across gaming floors, hotel lower levels, spa, restaurant and common areas. The
expansion adds 1.2 million square feet to the existing resort and casino.

Limelight Hotel Interior, Mammoth
The project scope highlights KHS&S’ expertise in framing, drywall, ACT grid, specialty ceilings, FRP and
paint for this 6-story boutique hotel. Located high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains at a ski resort, the
team must manage logistical challenges, requiring Just-In-Time Delivery as materials cannot be stored
outside in the elements. The crew is also faced with having to navigate inclement weather and road
closures caused by snowfall.
